Education Foundation Seeking Nominations for 2010 Awards

The Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation is seeking nominations for the annual Rock Island Legends alumni award and the Founders Circle community award.

The Rock Island Legends is an award for Rock Island High School graduates who have made significant contributions to furthering the mission of the Rock Island-Milan School District. The Founder’s Circle is a community award for persons who have not graduated from Rock Island High School but have made significant contributions to furthering the mission of the Rock Island-Milan School District.

Award nominations are due July 30, 2010. Nominations will be reviewed by a selection committee consisting of previous award winners. The person(s) selected will be invited to accept the award at the Rock Island-Milan School District State of Schools Dinner on September 7, 2010.
