Education Foundation Awards 2010 Scholarships

The Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation awarded 10 scholarships to Rock Island High School students at the Academic Achievement and Awards Night on Wednesday, May 12.

Award Winners include:

Stanley H. Coin Scholarship, $1000: Brinn Bell
Hass Family Scholarship, $3,500: Jerraco Johnson
Amy Helpenstell Liberal Arts Scholarship, $1,000: Allison Brown
R. Decker Magee Memorial Scholarship, $550: Tekiah Banks
The Rock Island High School Class of 1965 Scholarship, $500: Caitriona McGrath Nagle
Charles O. Austin Jr. Scholar Award, $1,000: Grant Snyder
Rick Gilliland Scholarship, $500: Carmen Mojica
Judith Katz Memorial Scholarship, $4,000: Allison Brown
Bud Forbes Memorial Scholarship, $750: Triona Roberts and Megan Wilson
Ben Clark Memorial Scholarship, $750: Jerraco Johnson and Ciara Turner
Thoms Family Above and Beyond Scholarship: Kevin Johnson, Jerraco Johnson, Michael Wieland
