Education Foundation Awards 2009 Scholarships

The Rock Island-Milan Education Foundation awarded 9 scholarships to Rock Island High School seniors at the Senior Awards Assembly on Tuesday, May 26.

Award Winners include:

Nellie D. Anthony Memorial Scholarship, $800: Kelsey Berryhill
Stanley H. Coin Scholarship, $2500: Zachary Carlson
Hass Family Scholarship, $3,500: Allanah Golden
Amy Helpenstell Liberal Arts Scholarship, $1,000: Danielle Markham
R. Decker Magee Memorial Scholarship, $550: Tara Vandygriff
The Rock Island High School Class of 1965 Scholarship, $500: Lauren Walker
Charles O. Austin Jr. Scholar Award, $1,000: Tara Vandygriff
Rick Gilliland Scholarship, $500: C.J. Bates
Judith Katz Memorial Scholarship, $4,000: Erin Gehn
